Christmas order cut-off dates for special number plates

A special number plate is quick and easy to order online and will make a unique and exciting gift this Christmas.

Order before 4pm on Friday, 29 November to make sure you get the plate in time for Christmas.

You can choose to collect your plate from a Service SA Customer Service Centre to save time and avoid any postal delays.

Special plates ordered after 29 November 2024 will still be processed. However, pre-Christmas delivery is not guaranteed.

Ordering a number plate as a gift

To complete your online order for a special number plate, you'll need the plate owner's:

• driver's licence number
• surname
• date of birth.
